We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative Floor Staff Supervisor to join our dynamic team for Nor’ Loft Champagne lounge, the rooftop bar within Market Street hotel.

About the Role:
You'll have a creative personality and an abundance of positivity, and give a warm welcome to every guest. You’ll have impeccable personal presentation standards, be team orientated, and have excellent communication skills as you’ll be working closely with other departments in the hotel.
This role will predominantly see you working late and evening shifts and most weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a senior member of the food and beverage team you’ll work closely with the Nor’ Loft Manager to drive continuous improvement.
- You’ll assist with people management, stock control, Alcohol Licence Compliance, and you’ll have the ability to train and develop your team.
- Actively set up, manage and oversee the daily operation of the Nor’ Loft.
- Your hands on approach to guest excellence will be the driving force behind a positive and friendly guest experience.
- Champagne is our signature; however, we are passionate about all other beverage too, you must have a strong beverage knowledge, and be a key player in the develop our seasonal signature cocktails.
- Have a strong wine and cocktail knowledge you will inspire and lead the team by example to be passionate about everything food and beverage. You will drive for upsells of our small plates and drinks menu.
- Preparing daily briefings for both F&B and reception.
- Be able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including bar, restaurant and managing small events.
- Assist with menu development.
- Assist with managing monthly stock control procedures.
- The ability to lead and develop your team through on-the-job training, motivation, and appraisals.
- Provide support to the Duty Management team.
Role Requirements:
- At least one year of experience, preferably in a supervisory role, working in a 4 or 5 star F&B environment is essential for this position
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have a valid right to work in the United Kingdom
- Flexibility is a must as you will be required to cover shifts over the weekends
